Pickleballs are the balls used in the sport of pickleball, a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Made of lightweight plastic covered in holes to reduce speed and wind resistance.
There are two types of plastic pickleballs. Indoor pickleballs: Fewer, larger holes (26), Softer and slightly lighter with Better control and less bounce. Outdoor pickleballs: More, smaller holes (40), Heavier and harder designed to handle wind and rougher surfaces.
Foam pickleballs are a type of pickleball designed primarily for indoor play, training, or quiet play. These are quiet and much less noise compared to traditional plastic balls and softer, so less risk of injury or damage to surroundings
